Returns, Exchanges and Refunds Policy

At Blingshiki, every item is handled with care. Some pieces are ready made, while others are made to order, personalised or customised specially for each customer.

 

Please read our policy carefully before placing your order.

Ready made items

Ready made items can be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

  1. The item is unworn

  2. The item is unused

  3. The item is returned in its original condition

  4. All tags, labels and packaging are intact

  5. The item has not been damaged, marked, washed or altered

To request a return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. Once your return is approved, the item must be posted back within 14 days.

Personalised, customised and made to order items

We do not accept returns or exchanges for items that are personalised, customised or made specifically for you, unless the item is faulty.

This includes items with:

  1. Names, initials or wording

  2. Custom rhinestone designs

  3. Custom prints

  4. Logos

  5. Event names or dates

  6. Bespoke colour choices

  7. Made to measure details

  8. Special order designs

  9. Approved customer artwork or layouts

Once production has started, personalised and customised orders cannot usually be cancelled, changed, returned or refunded unless there is a fault with the item.

Exchanges

We may offer an exchange on ready made items where stock is available.

Exchanges are subject to the item being returned in unworn, unused and resaleable condition. If the requested replacement size, colour or style is unavailable, we may offer a refund or store credit.

Customised, personalised and made to order items cannot be exchanged unless faulty.

Faulty or incorrect items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with:

  1. Your order number

  2. Clear photos of the item

  3. A short description of the issue

If the item is confirmed as faulty, incorrect or not as described, we will offer an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement or refund.

This does not apply where damage has been caused by wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, incorrect washing, poor handling or failure to follow care instructions.

Rhinestone and embellished garments

Rhinestone and embellished items must be handled with care. Some movement or loss of stones may occur over time with wear, washing, rubbing, heat, friction or incorrect care.

Please follow the care instructions provided with your item. We cannot accept returns for damage caused by incorrect washing, tumble drying, ironing directly over embellishment, excessive friction or rough handling.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item or valid proof of return.

For eligible returns, the original standard delivery charge will be refunded where required by law. Premium, express or upgraded delivery charges may not be refunded in full.

Return postage

Customers are responsible for return postage costs for change of mind returns, unless we have agreed otherwise or the item is faulty, incorrect or not as described.

We recommend using a tracked postal service and keeping proof of postage. Blingshiki cannot be responsible for returns that are lost in transit.

Items we cannot accept back

We cannot accept returns where:

  1. The item has been worn

  2. The item has been washed

  3. The item smells of perfume, smoke, food or body odour

  4. The item has makeup, deodorant, stains or marks

  5. The item has been damaged by the customer

  6. Tags or packaging have been removed

  7. The item was personalised, customised or made to order

  8. The return request was made outside the return period

 

How to request a return or exchange

Include:

  1. Your full name and phone number

  2. Your order number

  3. The item you wish to return or exchange

  4. The reason for your request

  5. Photos, if the item is faulty or incorrect

Please do not send items back without contacting us first.

 

Your statutory rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights. Customers remain entitled to remedies where goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.
